Job Summary
The Forward Deployed Engineer will lead the technical onboarding of financial institutions to the ModernFi platform, managing the entire process from account setup to go-live. Responsibilities include infrastructure setup, collaborating with bank IT teams for SSO configuration, coordinating third-party integrations, improving public API documentation, and optimizing onboarding tools based on client feedback. The role requires a strong engineering background, proficiency in code and infrastructure tasks, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate technical details for non-technical stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Engineering background, with a CS degree or equivalent experience
- Comfortable working with code and infrastructure
- Excellent communicator who can guide clients through technical setup
- Excited by the idea of improving the customer experience through a mix of software, process, and grit
- Collaborative and fun to work with
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with tools like AWS, Auth0, Pulumi, Python, PostgreSQL, or Retool
