Job Summary
Forward Deployed Engineer to lead customer onboarding and data-migration initiatives in NYC, designing and executing data-migration playbooks, engaging with non-technical and technical stakeholders, and collaborating with product/engineering to unblock complex data challenges. Responsibilities include managing timelines, providing engineering feedback, handling live migrations, mapping and manipulating datasets (including unstructured data), and traveling as needed for on-site support. Requires 1+ year of software development experience, scripting/debugging data issues, understanding data models and APIs, and strong customer-obsessed communication. Relocation assistance available; in-office role based in NYC.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of software development experience
- comfortable writing and modifying scripts
- reasoning about APIs and data models
- dissecting ambiguous data requirements
- ability to translate between business, ops, and engineering in real time
- high-ownership operator with ability to work in fast-paced environment
