Job Summary
Forward Deployed Engineers embed with delivery teams to turn ambiguous business problems into working prototypes and internal tools. They translate observations from consultants, operators and end users into agentic solutions, build prototypes in days, demo agents and agentic applications (e.g., document processing, research, analysis, operational automations), and prepare prototypes for handover to production. The role requires hands-on software engineering (Python, TypeScript/Node.js), experience with modern LLMs/agent frameworks (LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, CrewAI, MCP, A2A), cloud experience on AWS/Azure, and a bias toward delivering usable prototypes that drive real value, plus the ability to work with users to frame business cases and iterate rapidly.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years as a software engineer shipping working systems
- hands-on experience building LLM-powered or agentic applications
- Strong full-stack or backend engineering fundamentals — Python, TypeScript/Node.js
- Experience embedding with users or customers (consulting, startup founder engineer, FDE, solutions engineering, internal platform teams) or similar
- Comfortable owning a product from problem discovery through to working prototype and iteration, and then handing off cleanly to a production team
- Cloud-native experience on AWS and/or Azure (GCP a plus)
- Daily use of AI-assisted developer tools and agentic coding workflows
