Job Summary
Build and maintain integrations with provider practices and insurance systems using APIs, scrapers, or RPA. Join client discovery sessions with founders to map real-world workflows and translate them into technical requirements. Ship custom integrations quickly and iterate based on real-world feedback, while contributing to the core product when integration work isn't the bottleneck. Develop deep working knowledge of the US provider/payer landscape. This high-ownership role at an early-stage healthtech AI company focuses on automating the full payor compliance lifecycle for procedural medical specialties.
Required Qualifications
- 2–5 years of full-stack engineering experience building and shipping features end-to-end
- Startup background — comfortable with broad ownership, ambiguity, and small teams
- Experience owning features or products from discovery through delivery
- Proven track record integrating with third-party APIs
- Proficiency in Python and FastAPI (or equivalent backend frameworks)
- Proficiency in React and TypeScript (or equivalent frontend technologies)
- Active user of AI coding tools (e.g. Claude Code, Cursor, or similar) with shipped production work
- Strong communication skills — able to clearly articulate technical problems and tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders
- Develop deep working knowledge of the US provider/payer landscape
Desired Qualifications
- Experience building web scrapers or RPA solutions
- Background in US healthcare, or working with provider/payer systems
- AWS or GCP cloud infrastructure experience
- Production LLM application development beyond AI coding assistants
