Job Summary
Forward Deployed Engineer at C3 AI responsible for engineering full-stack AI-driven enterprise applications on the C3 AI Platform and working directly with customers to design, develop, and deploy production applications, demos, and proofs-of-technology. Responsibilities include developing and deploying applications, mentoring junior engineers, conducting design and code reviews, testing and improving customer apps, delivering technical enablement through deep-dives and training, writing documentation, identifying and mitigating risks, driving product improvement with cross-functional teams, and producing artifacts. Required qualifications include a STEM bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of OO programming experience, strong communication skills, travel ability, and experience with JavaScript and Python, plus frameworks like React, Redux, Vue, Backbone, or Angular and Git. Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship is required. Preferred qualifications include a graduate STEM degree, enterprise-scale deployment experience, customer-facing experience, and familiarity with additional JavaScript frameworks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM), or a comparable area of study.
- 2+ years of professional software development experience with object-oriented programming languages.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work effectively on a cross-functional team.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Software development experience with JavaScript and Python.
- Experience with Git or other version control software.
- Experience working with JavaScript frameworks such as React, Redux, Vue, Backbone, or Angular.
