Forward Deployed Engineer

Forward Deployed Engineer responsible for high-impact, client-facing technical enablement of Akka technology. Lead and deliver engaging workshops, architectural deep-dives, and hands-on training to customer development teams to achieve production readiness. Serve as a core technical anchor, pairing with customer engineers on complex production logic, architectural guidance, and proofs-of-concept that customers own and scale. Quickly adapt to unfamiliar architectures and domains, guiding production success through AI and systems engineering, including context engineering, semantic data management, multi-agent orchestration, guardrails, and deployment best practices. Provide SRE/DevOps guidance for resilient, production-ready environments, and host ongoing architectural reviews and office hours to influence product direction. Strong, native-level English communication and a demonstrated ability to translate complex concepts into clear, structured discussions for enterprise audiences. Distributed, remote-friendly role based in Australia (Sydney).
