Job Summary
Forward Deployed Engineer, AI at Kyndryl, collaborates directly with customers to solve complex challenges by delivering tailored AI solutions. The role blends engineering with consultative engagement, operating in a triad delivery model to scope, prototype, and deploy production‐ready AI solutions that drive measurable business outcomes. Responsibilities include customer engagement and solution integrity, rapid prototyping with agentic AI frameworks, end-to-end ownership of delivery, performance optimization, capturing deployment learnings, continuous learning, and contributing to platform evolution. Technologies referenced include Generative AI, agentic AI architectures, multi‐agent ecosystems, and tools in Python with frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Hugging Face, plus cloud platforms and data engineering practices. The position emphasizes on-site collaboration with customer teams in a hybrid-friendly, dynamic environment and opportunities for growth within a global AI ecosystem.
Required Qualifications
- 3-6 years of relevant IT experience
- at least 1 year working experience in Agentic AI Frameworks, Orchestration, Deployment
- 2 years on GenAI solutions
- Programming proficiency in Python
- Experience with AI/ML frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch is a plus
- Familiarity with Hugging Face repositories
- Experience with cloud AI platforms (AWS, Azure, Google AI) and distributed computing
- Knowledge of software delivery lifecycle and version control (Git)
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate with stakeholders
- Willingness to travel and work on customer premises as required
- Educational background in Computer Science/Engineering/Data Science or related field
