Job Summary
Forward Deployed AI Engineers own GenAI strategy and implementation for high-impact operational workflows, building end-to-end AI tools and bringing them to production across aviation, logistics, fulfillment, maintenance, customer operations, and commercial teams. Collaborate with operators, engineers, product teams, and business leaders to understand user needs, define technical approaches, and implement solutions that improve Zipline’s operations. Demonstrate a production AI mindset with experience building GenAI solutions, LLMs, data processing pipelines, and analytics tools; comfortable decomposing messy business problems into reliable technical workflows; strong coding skills in Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Java, C++, or similar languages; travel up to 50% to Zipline sites. This is an in-office role based out of South San Francisco HQ.
