Fortis - Director of Operations

Director of Operations at a faith-based Open Sky Education school; lead school-wide operations, budgeting, enrollment processes, compliance with health and safety laws, and coordination of logistics, transportation, and events. Responsible for policy implementation, financial analysis, systems development, enrollment/re-enrollment management, community outreach, marketing budget oversight, and collaboration with school leadership to ensure smooth daily operations and data-driven planning. Key duties include managing invoices and deliveries, coordinating transportation logistics, leading school tours, driving enrollment goals, producing financial and performance reports, maintaining the employee handbook, overseeing testing materials, and supporting human resources and audits. Requires a bachelor’s degree in management, accounting, operations, or HR focus; 3+ years of operations experience; experience in a school setting preferred; proficiency with Office 365; and flexibility to work outside standard hours.
