Job Summary
Operate and support enterprise Fortinet infrastructure in a high-security financial services environment, building methods of procedure for migrations, upgrades, and releases that withstand audit. Test new features and releases before production deployment, evaluate third-party device interoperability with Fortinet products, and train client staff to reduce dependency. Identify issues early and escalate critical matters while maintaining real ownership of the network security backbone rather than acting as a support seat. Requires 7+ years in LAN/WAN consulting and 5+ years with network security products, specifically 4+ years with Fortinet, including strong hands-on FortiGate expertise and global SD-WAN design experience. Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years in LAN/WAN/Internet consulting, support or administration
- 5+ years with network security products
- 4+ years specifically with Fortinet
- Strong hands-on FortiGate firewall expertise
- Strong knowledge of Fortinet SD-WAN design
- Hands-on experience in a global, multi-site architecture
- Hands-on ADVPN design and implementation experience
- Comfort working in a regulated, high-stakes financial environment
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- US citizenship or green card holder
