Job Summary
Design, configure, and deploy Fortinet firewall appliances in diverse network environments while leading proof-of-concept demonstrations and providing pre-sales technical support. Conduct client evaluations to analyze security needs and resolve complex firewall issues in production and test settings. Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to integrate firewalls with SIEM, endpoint protection, and cloud platforms, documenting configurations for knowledge sharing. This role requires 1-3 years of experience with FortiGate series and NSE level 3 certification, with a competitive salary of ₹3L-5L in Andheri West, Mumbai.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience with Fortinet firewall appliances (FortiGate series) or related products
- Proven experience in conducting POCs, demos, and client evaluations in a technical or pre-sales capacity
- Strong understanding of firewall technologies, including NGFW, IPS/IDS, SSL inspection, VPN (IPsec & SSL), and threat prevention
- Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, and network security principles
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve network and firewall issues under pressure
- Strong communication and presentation skills for engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel for client engagements and on-site deployments as required
Desired Qualifications
- Certification in Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE) level 3 or higher
