Job Summary
Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients in Skilled Nursing Facilities; assess and diagnose DSM-V disorders; develop treatment plans; apply psychopharmacology and non-pharmacological treatments; staff clinical cases with psychiatrists; requires Colorado licensure (Nursing and Pharmacy/DEA) and 1 year geriatrics psych experience in SNF settings; Spanish a plus; generous base salary with incentives, PTO, CEU support, and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in Colorado by the Colorado Board of Nursing in good standing with a focus in psychiatry
- Licensed by the Colorado Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances (DEA)
- Possession of Malpractice Insurance if Independent Contractor (offered by the company for W2 employees)
- 1 year of Geriatric Psychiatry experience
- 1 year providing treatment within Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehab Hospitals
