Job Summary
Prepare structural formwork calculations and draft detailed concrete drawings while coordinating with project teams to ensure design accuracy, safety, and cost efficiency. Perform structural quality control walks, review project documents for conflicts, and manage document control to deliver up-to-date instructions to field sites. Plan material and equipment needs, attend technical meetings to resolve issues, and maintain logs for RFIs and submittals. Support operational safety goals and develop customer relationships to enhance project procurement. This role requires an EIT-certified engineer with proficiency in CAD and Microsoft Suite to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or relevant area of education and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
- Strong mathematical and visualization skills
- Ability to read and understand drawings
- Completed coursework in computer-aided drafting/building information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite – Excel, Word, Outlook
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and tasks, with an emphasis on thoroughness, attention to detail, and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, as well as customers and vendors
