Formwork Carpenter

Job Summary
Formwork Carpenters build and strip walls, columns, and slabs, fly table forms, place vertical concrete, and install temporary fencing, guardrails, handrails, and barriers. You’ll work alongside experienced supervisors and journeypersons, use shoring, scaffolding, and various formwork systems, and perform duties on active job sites in Kamloops. Certifications like Fall Protection are required, with WHMIS 2015 and CSTS available through the employer. Apprenticeship progression toward Red Seal certification is supported. Overtime is available and safety is a priority.
Required Qualifications
- Concrete formwork experience (required)
- High-rise construction experience (an asset)
- Fall Protection (required)
- WHMIS 2015 – can be provided
- CSTS – can be provided
