Job Summary

Design and develop oral formulations for clinical and commercial use, solving complex challenges in bioavailability and stability. Evaluate processability solutions and collaborate across Drug Product, Analytical, API, Quality, and Regulatory functions at BMS sites and with external manufacturing partners. Contribute to drug development strategy, support technology transfer to CMOs, and ensure formulations scale from first-in-human to commercial readiness. This role sits within the Oral Product Development group, working on small molecule drug candidates aimed at transforming patients' lives.

Required Qualifications

A degree in Pharmaceutical Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline (BS + 4 years' experience, MS + 2 years, or PhD with relevant pharmaceutical development background)
A proven ability to design experiments, solve problems, and troubleshoot when things don't go to plan (and sometimes they won't)
Strong written and verbal communication skills - you can translate complex science into clear, compelling narratives
A collaborative mindset with the confidence to lead workgroups and guide junior colleagues
The drive to work independently and the self-awareness to know when to bring others in

Ability to physically travel to visit customers, patients or business partners and to attend meetings on behalf of BMS as directed (for field-based and remote-by-design roles)
