Formulation Process Development Engineer

Job Summary
Design and conduct research activities to enable successful launch of crop protection formulated products by planning trials for scale-up feasibility and using Design of Experiment (DoE) to determine key process variables affecting product performance, quality, stability, and manufacturability. Coordinate cross-functional samples for reactive chemistry, packaging compatibility, and application studies, then document process considerations in technical reports. Partner with multidisciplinary teams to plan and support process demonstration trials, provide manufacturing plant startup support, and troubleshoot process issues to transfer technology to production. Consolidate sample requests and coordinate procurement of raw materials to produce pilot-scale field trials.

- Capable of setting up pilot scale laboratory equipment

- Ability to successfully partner with team members and stakeholders from multiple backgrounds
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to deliver presentations that distill complex ideas and proactively communicate results and progress to technical teams, supervision, management, and business leadership
- Ability to travel up to 10%
Desired Qualifications
- BS, MS or PhD in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, material science, or chemistry
- 4-6 years of relevant industrial or R&D experience
