Job Summary
Conduct day-to-day laboratory activities for color cosmetic pigments, including assisting with product development, claim substantiation, and formulation while adhering to safety and environmental standards. Provide technical support to the customer base, organize findings into reports or slides for internal meetings, and manage laboratory maintenance such as equipment calibration and raw material ordering. Collaborate with global technical service and marketing teams to deliver project deadlines through business workflow software.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA degree in Chemistry, cosmetic science, or any related technical field
- 5+ years of laboratory and cosmetic formulation experience, with a focus on color cosmetics
- A fundamental understanding of general chemistry concerning cosmetic raw ingredients
- Good problem-solving, decision-making, and organization skills
- Good communication skills and the ability to positively interact across functional units in a global organization
- Ability to manage and deliver several project deadlines concurrently and manage work through business enterprise workflow software
