Job Summary
Set up and operate press brakes to straighten or bend metal parts by examining blanks, selecting dies, and programming CNC. Run jobs by positioning workpieces and pressing them into required forms while monitoring for material variances. Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using calipers and height gages. Conduct routine preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment. Requires high school diploma, blueprint reading skills, and ability to lift 50# repetitively. Full-time, 2nd shift.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- The ability to read and interpret complicated blueprints
- One to three years of related experience
- Must be able to lift 50# repetitively
- Some CNC or strong computer skills
- This is a non-management position
- This is a full time position
