Job Summary
Coordinate professional machine deliveries and conduct comprehensive orientation, operational training, and technology onboarding for customers. Perform hands-on instruction regarding machine operation, safety features, maintenance requirements, and onboard technologies while ensuring clients understand capabilities to maximize productivity. Conduct pre/post/periodic trip inspections to verify mechanical and safety equipment integrity, and perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks including adding fluids and minor repairs. Maintain an excellent driving record and operate all CAT equipment sold by the company. Promote a positive customer experience while adhering to core values of integrity and teamwork. Requires minimum two years of heavy equipment experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to travel.
Required Qualifications
- Thorough knowledge and ability to operate all CAT equipment sold by CMCo
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Mechanical aptitude
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Must be able to conduct pre/post/periodic trip inspections to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order
- Must be able to perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as adding oil, fuel or fluids and performing minor repairs
- Must possess ability to learn new applications and adapt to changing technology
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize workload and handle several tasks with competing demands
- Must be able to function well in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Must have an excellent driving record
- Must be willing to travel
- Minimum two years of heavy equipment technician or operation experience
- High school diploma or equivalent, required
