Forma Design - Technical Program Manager

Job Summary
Technical Program Manager to drive alignment, execution, and delivery across complex product and engineering initiatives at Autodesk Forma Design. You will partner with Product Area Leaders and Engineering leadership to translate strategy into coordinated cross-squad execution, own end-to-end program management, identify and mitigate risks, manage dependencies, and provide clear visibility into progress. You will collaborate with product, engineering, and design to deliver scalable solutions, reduce operational overhead for product managers and engineers, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. The role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, structured planning, and the ability to operate in ambiguity. Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's degree in a technical field, 5+ years of engineering/program management experience, 3+ years in TPM/PM roles, deep understanding of software development and Agile, cloud experience (AWS), and proficiency with AI tools to streamline workflows, along with excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
- 5+ years of experience working with engineering teams on complex initiatives in a fast-paced environment
- 3+ years of experience in a Technical Program Manager, Program Manager, or similar role
- Strong understanding of software development processes and Agile methodologies
- Experience working with cloud-based systems or platforms (e.g. AWS)
- Experience coordinating delivery across multiple teams, including managing dependencies and risks
- Comfortable using AI tools to streamline program management workflows, including planning, documentation, status reporting, risk tracking, and stakeholder communication
