Job Summary
Formulate and dispense pharmaceutical products in a clean room environment for radio-pharmaceutical and dermatological lines, adhering to current Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures. Wash and sterilize equipment, tubing, filters, and vessels; perform manual and automatic manufacturing processes; and prepare glassware and lab equipment for production. Document data, review batch records, and complete necessary paperwork to conform with FDA regulations. Monitor equipment under direction and assist in SOP reviews. Perform required cleaning of the manufacturing facility and equipment. This first shift, 6:00AM - 2:30PM EST role requires standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and wearing safety attire. High school diploma required with 2-5 years related experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to follow clearly described procedures
- Basic computer skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to visually inspect small products and print
- Basic math, computer, and record keeping skills
Desired Qualifications
- Education in Life sciences or technical discipline
- Good organizational and record keeping skills
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Minimum of 2 - 5 years related experience
- Familiarity with, and the ability to follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Master Batch Records, and adhere consistently to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs)
- cGMP training
- Familiarity with aseptic fill/finish, formulation techniques
- Experience working in a controlled environment
- Related experience in pharmaceutical environment
