Job Summary
Record and input data for the inventory control system, maintain accurate inventory quantities, and resolve material discrepancies. Monitor and reconcile material usage in and out of production, verify scanning accuracy in SAP, and report findings for improvement. Manage flow of material between the Warehouse and Production Departments, coordinate with Logistics for shipment orders, and ensure proper materials are assigned to production lines. Maintain stock item masters, check product quality on receipt, and supply proofread labels from the Bar Tender system. Keep thorough paperwork and ensure all personal protective equipment is worn while following Good Manufacturing Practices and safety procedures. Work the 2nd shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM in an industrial plant environment.
Required Qualifications
- Full knowledge of inventory control systems
- Ability to operate RF scanner
- Ability to comprehend written and oral instructions in English
- Ability to interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals
- Ability to apply concepts of basic mathematics
- Ability to lead and train others
- Ability to work any shift, any day of the week, as assigned and overtime as needed
- Ability to pass a pre-employment, post offer drug screen, and background check
- High School or equivalent
- Must be able to stand, walk, sit for 8+ hours/shift
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to bend/stoop/squat/twist/kneel and turn throughout workday, for varying lengths of time
- Must be able to reach with hands and arms below shoulder level to above shoulder level
- Must be able to work in industrial plant environment/freezers
- Must be able to work in industrial plant environment with related noise and temperatures, ranging from 37-40 degrees Fahrenheit
- Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
