Job Summary
Perform mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs on industrial equipment including electric forklifts, racking, dock doors, scissor lifts, and golf carts. Manage the maintenance shop by facilitating PM schedules, work requests, and warranty processes while maintaining accurate service records and inventory levels. Troubleshoot equipment failures using root cause analysis and historical CMMS data, then complete repairs per manufacturer guidelines. Coordinate outside vendor work and parts ordering, ensuring all work areas remain safe, organized, and compliant with OSHA standards. Maintain accurate timekeeping and complete safety training modules. Willing to be on call and work independently in customer facility locations.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience
- High School or GED Diploma required
- Strong electrical / LP troubleshooting skills
- Industrial battery experience
- Dock & door experience
- Able to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, hydraulic diagrams
- Ability to organize his/her own work and work independently, with limited supervision
- Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with diverse needs, and across remote offices
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
- Must maintain a high level of self-awareness about their surroundings
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus
Desired Qualifications
- Arc, Mig, and Tig welding experience preferred
