Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on forklifts and material handling equipment, troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Disassemble, overhaul, and reassemble engines, transmissions, and differentials while servicing equipment from CAT, Mitsubishi, Jungheinrich, and other brands. Complete work orders, safety inspections, and timekeeping documentation accurately, maintaining tools and a clean work environment. Work overtime as needed in Oxnard, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working on forklifts, heavy equipment, or related machinery
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Ability to own and maintain tools of the trade
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Minimum five plus year's of Cat dealer experience and ten year's heavy equipment industry experience or equivalent education and experience
Desired Qualifications
- One-year certificate or associate's degree from a community college or technical school
