Job Summary
Perform scheduled routine maintenance on material handling equipment including forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts. Check all fluids, tires, cooling systems, belts, fuel injection systems, exhaust systems, and battery components. Inspect lift chains, anchors, forks, bearings, cylinders, hydraulic hoses, and steering systems. Change oil and filters, clean battery terminals, and maintain a clean, safe work environment in compliance with OSHA Standards. Provide courteous and professional service while holding a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Required Qualifications
- Experience inspecting and maintaining material handling equipment
- Experience inspecting and maintaining heavy equipment
- Working knowledge of mechanical systems
- Working knowledge of electrical systems
- Working knowledge of hydraulic systems
- Understanding of gasoline fuel systems
- Understanding of diesel fuel systems
- Understanding of liquid propane fuel systems
- Clean driving record
- Valid driver's license
- Dependable professional
- Self-motivated professional
- Excellent work ethic
- POSITIVE attitude
