Job Summary
Fill customer orders and deliver them to the packing area or loading dock, obtaining merchandise from bins or shelves while ensuring completeness and correctness. Sort and place materials on racks or shelves according to predetermined sequences, mark items with identifying information, and repair bins as required. Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and warehouse by following all safety policies, wearing proper personal protective equipment, and adhering to company procedures. Communicate regularly with Warehouse Managers regarding stock location issues or changes requested by Wilmar employees. Perform up to 8-9 hours of movement per shift Monday through Thursday, including standing, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs per instance.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to commute/relocate to Kent, WA 98032
- One year order picking experience in a warehouse
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
- Ability to read and understand safety instructions, work orders, and written procedures in English
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to respond to common directions
- Ability to effectively present information to employees for the purpose of clarification or training
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to perform duties in a safe and unimpaired manner at all times
- Must be able to wear and use proper personal protective equipment
- Must be able to adhere to Company Policy and Procedures
- Must be able to consistently report to work on time
- Must be able to demonstrate flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize workload
