Job Summary
Forklift Operators and Dock Workers needed to join Oak Harbor Freight Lines across the region. Responsibilities include competent operation of material handling equipment, recording exceptions in shipment counts, managing delivery receipts and bills of lading, regrouping shipments as needed, and maintaining reliability standards. Must be 18+, with HS diploma/GED preferred, and forklift/warehouse experience strongly preferred. Flexible to work various shifts; overtime after 8 hours; benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401K match, PTO, and holiday pay after 90 days. Localized to Phoenix, AZ area with in-person remote option. LTL experience and basic English proficiency are desired.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- A High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent is strongly preferred
- Previous warehouse or like experience strongly preferred
- Forklift experience is strongly preferred
- Simple arithmetic, weight and/or measuring is required
- Experience using tools, machines, and special equipment: hand truck, four-wheel dock cart, pallet jack, barrel truck, dock plates, load locks and/or rope is preferred
- The ability to communicate in a positive, effective manner with customers, co-workers and dispatch/managers
- Experience in an LTL operation preferred
- Basic English language proficiency (reading, writing and verbal) is required
