Job Summary
Safely operate forklifts and other assigned equipment to load, unload, move, stack, and re-palletize materials efficiently. Complete daily equipment inspections, report maintenance concerns, and organize materials for shipment in an orderly manner. Load and unload trucks while collaborating with Supervisors, Customer Service Representatives, and Sales teams to verify order accuracy. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all company, federal, state, and local safety regulations. Perform additional duties as assigned to support warehouse operations. This role involves working both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, wind, and dust. Candidates must be able to frequently climb on and off equipment, lift up to 90 pounds, and work overtime when business needs require.
Required Qualifications
- Previous forklift operating experience
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to read and understand loading tickets, work instructions, and safety procedures
- Dependable
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Willingness to work overtime or extended hours
- Ability to frequently climb on and off forklifts and equipment
- Ability to walk, stand, sit, bend, stoop, and move throughout the workday
- Ability to lift and carry up to 90 pounds
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks in a warehouse environment
