Job Summary
Forklift Operator at a recycling facility in North Charleston, SC, with temporary-to-hire status and weekly pay. Responsibilities include operating forklift and baler, completing forklift certification, maintaining and inspecting equipment, performing routine maintenance, logging inventory activity, moving materials to designated locations, stacking items, noting damaged parts, submitting records at end of day, and adhering to OSHA safety procedures. Requires ability to work a 7 AM–4 PM schedule, pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks, and participate in an in-person interview; offers medical/dental/vision benefits and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- Experience operating forklift or similar powered industrial trucks (Preferred but not required)
- Valid certification in operating heavy machinery (ideal)
- Good communication skills
