Job Summary
Perform pre-shift forklift inspections and complete daily forms before operating equipment following all safety procedures. Monitor material quality, ensure proper storage, and handle siding, accessories, and wooden pallets with care to prevent damage. Report equipment malfunctions or product deficiencies to supervisors and maintain housekeeping around the work area. Pick siding, accessories, and purchase products damage-free while participating in inventory counts and department meetings for continuous improvement. Comply with all health and safety policies and perform other duties as assigned by the Shipping/Warehouse Lead Hand. Work the afternoon shift from 2 PM to 10 PM with shift premiums and incentives.
Required Qualifications
- Must have completed Grade 12 or equivalent
- Must be able to work afternoon shift (2pm to 10pm)
- Forklift certification acquired through Company sponsored training program
- Demonstrates ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently
- Ability to complete reports accurately and legibly
- Good communication skills
- Team player, strong interpersonal skills
