Job Summary
Conduct inventory control activities, including receiving, issuing, storing, and tracking materials while maintaining accurate records and performing cycle counts. Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, hand trucks, low-lift trucks, hoists, overhead cranes, and order pickers. Process returned materials, inspect shipments for damage or discrepancies, and prepare, package, and ship items with proper documentation. Assist coworkers and perform additional duties as assigned while following all safety policies and procedures. Work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM at a Findlay, OH location, with overtime as needed. Contract employees may be asked to relocate within a designated service territory.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver License
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of one year of experience in inventory control
- Minimum of one year of experience in inventory management
- Minimum of one year of experience in material handling
- Minimum of one year of experience in warehousing
- Experience using inventory management software (such as Maximo)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word
- Basic computer skills
- Willingness to learn additional software applications
- Strong understanding of shipping, receiving, logistics, and inventory processes
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to safely lift up to 70 pounds
- Successful completion of the required Physical Ability Test (PAT)
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and work for extended periods
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Comfortable working in heat, cold, rain, and other environmental conditions
