Forklift Operator

Forklift Operator I is responsible for moving material from inventory to production and back, maintaining production records, and supplying production departments with material per the production schedule. Responsibilities include moving material between stations, banding/wrapping/packing finished goods, labeling material, transporting finished goods to the inventory yard or warehouse, assisting production with bottlenecks, performing general preventive maintenance on equipment, completing pre-shift startup checklists, organizing the material yard, and maintaining accurate production records. The role requires adherence to forklift rules, participation in safety/CI programs, and other duties as assigned. Skills and qualifications include basic math and inventory techniques, forklift operation experience (licensing process to be completed), and being at least 18 years old.
