Job Summary
Forklift Operators are responsible for assisting with shipping and receiving tasks, including unloading trucks and checking in merchandise. The role requires sorting and placing materials according to organizational standards, maintaining a safe and clean work environment, and adhering to safety rules. Candidates must have significant warehouse and forklift experience, a valid forklift certification, and the ability to handle heavy objects. The position demands physical fitness, including lifting, standing, and mobility in the warehouse.
Required Qualifications
- 3 - 5 years of warehouse related experience in shipping and receiving
- 3+ years of forklift experience
- Forklift Certification
- Experience handling pipe (both carbon and stainless steel) required (20' and 40')
- Excellent work ethic: ability to work self-directed and as a flexible team player
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
