Forklift Operator

Job Summary
Operate forklift to move stock and materials, assist shipping and receiving with unloading trucks, pick and fill orders from stock, and pack and ship orders. Sort and store items on racks/shelves, maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment, and follow organizational standards. Lift 10–50 lbs regularly and up to 100+ lbs occasionally with proper equipment; stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach as needed. Requires forklift certification and 3+ years of forklift experience within a warehouse setting, plus 3–5 years of warehouse shipping/receiving experience. Role is 2:30 p.m.–12:30 a.m. shift, 40 hours per week, based in Houston, TX. Must pass background check and drug test. Other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
Required Qualifications
- 3 - 5 years of warehouse related experience in shipping and receiving
- 3+ years of forklift experience
- Forklift Certification required
- Experience handling pipe (both carbon and stainless steel) a plus
- Excellent work ethic: ability to work self-directed and as a flexible team player
- Ensure all safety rules are strictly observed
- Qualified applicants must be able to pass a background check and drug test
- A minimum of 40 hours per week
