Job Summary
Safely operate sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, cherry picker, or electric pallet jack equipment to move, stack, store, and transport products throughout the warehouse while loading and unloading inbound and outbound freight. Pick, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment, verify product quantities, and inspect shipments for damage or discrepancies. Maintain accurate documentation using handheld RF scanners and warehouse management systems, conduct daily forklift inspections, and keep aisles and work areas clean. Perform inventory movements and assist with cycle counts while following all OSHA regulations and company safety policies. Collaborate with team members to meet productivity and quality goals.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment throughout the shift
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous forklift operating experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
- Forklift certification or the ability to become certified upon hire
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attendance, reliability, and communication skills
