Job Summary
Forklift Operator (Checker/Loader) in a non-climate-controlled shipping department. Operate industrial forklifts to load/unload trailers, move materials, verify shipment counts and descriptions, process deliveries with RF scanners, palletize and stretch-wrap products, complete shipping/receiving/inventory documentation, and perform counts and cycle counts. Supports production lines, assists other departments, maintains safety and organization, and participates in on-the-job training within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Basic math skills, including working with decimals and fractions
- Ability to read and use a tape measure
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Reliable attendance and flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or alternate shifts when needed
