Job Summary
Forklift Operator needed for warehouse/distribution operations in Dothan, AL. Responsibilities include operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks to move materials, load/unload trucks, stage orders, and maintain inventory accuracy. Duties cover loading/unloading, moving and staging materials, wrapping and stacking pallets, scanning and maintaining inventory records, supporting order picking/shipping/receiving, rotating inventory using FIFO, cycle counts and audits, daily equipment inspections, and maintaining a safe, organized work environment in compliance with OSHA, traffic rules, and PPE requirements. Benefits include weekly pay and a full-time schedule (Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM–2:00 PM). Prior forklift, warehouse, shipping, receiving, or material handling experience is preferred; experience with sit-down, stand-up, or reach trucks is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Previous forklift, warehouse, shipping, receiving, or material handling experience preferred.
- Experience operating sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, or reach trucks is a plus.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely.
- Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required.
