Job Summary
Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products using stand-up, sit-down, or clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks. Pull and prepare product for shipment, verify load accuracy and stability, and maintain facility equipment through daily inspections and battery changes. Keep appropriate records for inventory accuracy and comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards. Perform physical inventories and complete daily equipment inspections. Requires a forklift operator certificate within 30 days, high school diploma, and six months of forklift operation experience. Works 1st shift (5am-3:30pm) Monday through Thursday at DHL Supply Chain.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience operating a Clamp truck
- Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Six months warehouse experience
- Six months forklift operation experience
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience using an RF Scanner
- Minimum of 6 months using a sit down forklift
- Minimum of 6 months using a stand up forklift
