Job Summary
Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using stand-up, sit-down, or clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks. Pull and prepare product for shipment while verifying load accuracy, stability, and product damage. Maintain facility equipment by completing daily inspections, changing batteries or LP tanks, and keeping materials neat and orderly. Keep appropriate records for inventory accuracy and comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards. Perform physical inventories and assist with other duties as assigned. Operate equipment 80% of the specified shift, including weekend dayshift hours from 6:00am to 6:00pm. Obtain a forklift operator certificate within the first 30 days of employment.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 6 month's experience operating stand-up material handling equipment
- Safe and efficient operation of a stand-up Dock Stocker
- Safe and efficient operation of a Reach Truck
- Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Six months warehouse experience
- Six months forklift operation experience
- Weekend Dayshift 1st- Friday-Sunday 6:00am to 6:00pm
- $20.50 per hr, plus shift differential of $1.50 per hour
Desired Qualifications
- Experience operating other material handling equipment such as Order (Cherry) Picker
- Experience operating Sit-down forklifts
- Experience operating Clamp forklifts
- Experience operating Electric Pallet Jack
- High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
- Six months warehouse experience, preferred
