Job Summary
Warehouse Forklift Operator at a third-party logistics facility in Brantford, ON. Safely operate Crown Reach Trucks, Dock Stockers, and stand-up forklifts to load/unload trucks, perform order picking, shipping/receiving, verify goods against invoices, and maintain accurate documentation. Use RF scanners to track inventory, stage shipments, manage stock with FIFO, and assist with inventory audits. Ensure safety and cleanliness of the work area; flexible shifts (days, afternoons, nights) with a temp-to-perm path. Requires 1-3 years of forklift experience, a valid forklift license, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Competitive pay ranging from $21.00 to $23.50 per hour, with weekly pay and benefits after hire, in a clean, well-organized distribution facility.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience operating Crown Reach Trucks, Dock Stockers, or stand-up forklifts
- Valid external forklift license
- High school diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent
- Basic computer skills, including experience with MRP systems (ASN, scanning, shipment/receipt entry)
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in cold environments
- Proven attendance and punctuality
- Ability to stand and move throughout the shift
