Job Summary
Read labels and quantities of merchandise, then obtain items from inline stretch or lanes. Remove merchandise from conveyors and place it in the correct lane or location using a finger scanner or RDT to locate pallets. Arrange actions according to specific rules while maintaining a clean, safe work area free of debris. Lift a minimum of 50 lbs repeatedly and operate powered equipment efficiently and safely throughout the shift. Achieve productivity and quality standards while following both written and verbal instructions.
Required Qualifications
- Must be in the My Work Choice Core Program or Full Time Associate
- Broad knowledge of methods and procedures used in the various distribution center functions
- General knowledge of distribution center layout
- Able to operate powered equipment efficiently and safely
- Ability to work on a forklift for entire shift
- Ability to work alone in a Finger Scanner/RDT directed job
- Must have above average attendance
- Must have above average response to company requested overtime
- Must meet all Quality standards
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly
- Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
- Ability to effectively use math and related skills
- Legible handwriting
