Job Summary
Operate sit-down forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials between dock, staging, and storage areas while performing daily pre-shift inspections to ensure equipment safety. Accurately scan and track inventory movements using RF scanners or manual systems, ensuring materials are properly staged and stored according to operational requirements. Follow all safety standards, operating procedures, and company policies in a warehouse environment with frequent forklift traffic.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to obtain powered industrial equipment certification
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to obtain certification for powered industrial equipment
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Must be able to pass a drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
- Required use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Desired Qualifications
- 3-5 years' experience operating sit-down forklifts preferred
- Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems preferred
