Job Summary
Operate a motorized forklift to load and unload trucks, pull pallets from production lines, and place finished product in the warehouse as directed by the onboard WMS system. Move levers and press pedals to control vehicle movement and lifting apparatus, while unloading, stacking, and securing materials. Plan supply requirements by studying production schedules, retrieve supplies by locating and verifying specifications, and maintain inventory by reporting discrepancies. Document actions by logging movements of supplies, materials, and finished goods, and keep the forklift operating through preventative maintenance and troubleshooting. Maintain a safe work environment by monitoring foot traffic and complying with legal regulations. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function.
Required Qualifications
- 0 Years – Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment
- 0 Years – Experience in Position
- The proven ability to safely operate a sit down motorized forklift
- The ability to navigate within a WMS system
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
- Forklift certification
- Minimum Professional Proficiency
