Job Summary
Forklift Operators are responsible for loading, unloading, sorting, staging and transporting products in a warehouse. Operate a forklift safely and efficiently, load/unload trailers and railcars, check inbound/outbound items for accuracy and damage, use handheld scanners for warehouse management system compliance, perform daily equipment inspections, and maintain a clean, cooperative work environment. Requires 1 year of forklift experience, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, ability to work overtime, pass pre-employment screening, and a HS diploma (preferred) with potential forklift certification. Required Qualifications
- Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older
- Minimum of 1 year experience operating a forklift
- Must be able to move and/or lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation
- Must be able to work overtime and adjust schedule as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent (Helpful)
- Forklift certified (Helpful)
