Job Summary
Unload inbound shipments, prepare and stage skids for outbound shipments, and transport goods from racks, shelves, and vehicles. Maintain accurate stock records, daily forklift maintenance logs, and equipment condition databases. Coordinate loading and unloading operations, select products for specific routes, and oversee special orders and after-hours urgent shipping jobs. Remove pallets and damaged products from returning trailers while adhering to food safety guidelines. Work at a rapid pace to meet tight deadlines, with flexible scheduling that may include overtime on short notice.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to be on a forklift the entire shift
- Ability to work up to 30 feet in the air while pulling orders or performing cycle counts
- Willingness to be cross trained in all warehouse functions and departments
- The ability to function as a mature, professional individual, who interacts positively with teammates
- The willingness to function effectively in a team environment and tackle any task required for the success of the team
- Flexible schedule that allows you to work overtime on short notice in order to make sure all orders are shipped in a timely manner
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
