Job Summary
Forklift Operator needed to safely operate a forklift within the facility to move materials and products, load/unload trucks, and assist with material transfer. Responsibilities include handling nonferrous and ferrous metals, maintaining a clean and organized work area, performing pre-operational inspections, using PPE, and reporting safety concerns. The role requires coordinating with production, shipping, and maintenance teams, executing routine forklift maintenance, and contributing to quality control by inspecting materials for defects. Experience level is 1–2 years with emphasis on safety, teamwork, and ability to work in a metal recycling environment. Required Qualifications
- One to two years of related experience
- Knowledge of different types of non-ferrous metals (preferred)
- Familiarity with metal recycling industry tools (preferred)
- Satisfactorily pass forklift driving training program or demonstrate safe handling (preferred)
