Job Summary
Monitor and supply production lines with raw materials, transport full goods, pick orders, and load/unload trucks. Operate forklifts and related machinery safely while conducting trailer inspections and managing Port–o-Pet off-loads. Clean the shipping area, including mopping the PIT, managing perimeter zones, and emptying waste bins. Relieve on production lines for breaks and report hazardous conditions, incidents, or inventory discrepancies to management. Adhere to all health and safety policies, GMPs, and SQF requirements. Shifts involve rotation with continuous standing, lifting, and moderate mental pressure from production quotas.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Forklift certification
- High School Certification
- 3-5 years relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experienced in SAP
- Shifts- Rotation shifts are required for this position
- Physical-Continuously standing or walking
- Regular requirements to lift/handle/carry material or equipment of moderate weight
- Visual/Sensory-This position requires regular need to give moderate attention with one or two senses at a time
- Work environment- Work and environment are very repetitive
- Mental Stress- There is pronounced pressure from deadlines, production quotas, accuracy or similar demands
Desired Qualifications
- Approximately 3+ years in a fast moving packaged goods environment, beverage production experience preferred
- Good interpersonal & communication skills, both written
- Solid understanding of production machinery/forklifts, including an awareness of technical issues
- Able to work quickly and accurately under pressure
- Formal training in areas such as WHIMIS, HACCP, Hygiene etc. preferred
