Job Summary
Load and unload raw materials from incoming trucks, transport them to designated areas, and supply raw materials to production lines as required. Perform pre-trip forklift inspections, operate powered industrial trucks in a high-paced environment, and conduct battery or propane tank changing operations while adhering to all health and safety policies, Good Manufacturing Practices, and food safety guidelines. Validate quantities using Blind Count Sheets or SAP transactions via Vehicle Mounted Units installed on forklifts. Clean and maintain work areas throughout the shift and perform any other driving activities or production machine operation duties directed by leadership.
Required Qualifications
- High School Certification or equivalent (GED)
- Must be able to perform basic computer functions
- Must demonstrate the basic operation of powered industrial trucks
- Must be forklift certified by an approved Refresco trainer
- Capability to read and write job instructions in the specified acceptable language(s) for the location
- Ability to operate powered industrial trucks (PIT's) in a high paced environment
- Must be in-house forklift certified
- Must be able to perform all other warehouse functions within SAP using the forklift VMU
- Ability to use SAP database through Vehicle Mounted Units (VMUs) installed on forklifts
- Must be able to perform pre-trip forklift inspections
- Must adhere to forklift battery or propane tank changing operations and safety procedures
- Must adhere to all health and safety policies/procedures
- Must adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
- Must adhere to the required personal protective equipment (PPE) while in the warehouse or production areas
- Must be able to load and unload raw materials from incoming trucks
- Must be able to transport raw materials to designated areas
- Must be able to validate quantities by use of Blind Count Sheets or use of SAP transactions performed on forklift computer
- Must be able to supply raw materials to the production lines as required
- Must be able to perform any other driving activities as directed by leadership
- Must be able to clean/maintain work areas throughout the shift
- Must represent the company in a positive manner at all times
- Must be able to participate in safety audits and inspections
- Must be able to analyze data and process parameters to optimize production
- Must be able to quickly identify and resolve operational issues
- Must be able to perform basic computer functions for operating production software and logging data
- Must be able to track inventory and logistics using warehouse management software
- Must be able to perform food quality and food safety guidelines per Refresco, Customer and/or governing bodies (ex. SQF) standards
Desired Qualifications
- 3 years + work experience in a manufacturing environment
