Job Summary
Conduct safe forklift operations for stacking material, loading trailers, and emptying full containers throughout the facility. Perform pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure windows, lights, and mirrors are clean and the machinery is in proper operating condition. Organize warehouse materials and coordinate with the supervisor to empty trash bins while continuously monitoring equipment to minimize downtime. Follow all required safety policies and procedures, including OSHA certification requirements for powered industrial trucks. Maintain a professional, courteous manner toward customers and co-workers while adhering to company rules and work schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Must complete and pass OSHA's requirements for forklift certification (powered industrial truck) training as set forth in 29 CFR 1910.178
- Minimum of 1 year of prior related experience in forklift operation
- Minimum 1 year of prior experience working at sites regulated by OSHA
