Job Summary
Forklift Operator in a warehouse environment responsible for safely operating forklifts to move, locate, stack, and count merchandise; load/unload and transport goods; perform daily forklift inspections; support inventory accuracy with cycle counts; ensure proper placement of goods and adherence to OSHA safety guidelines; assist with picking, packing, labeling, and staging; secure loads for safe transport; maintain clean, organized work areas; collaborate with warehouse team members.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain certification)
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment preferred
- Basic math and inventory skills
- Ability to read labels, safety warnings, and instructions
- Strong attention to detail and safety
